Belfast Giants progress to Challenge Cup Final

The Belfast Giants and Cardiff Devils clash on 12 March 2025.

After a hard-fought, aggregate semi-final win over the Nottingham Panthers, the men in teal face one last obstacle in the hunt for Challenge Cup glory. The Giants take on old rivals Cardiff Devils at The SSE Arena, Belfast. Adam Keefe’s team will be hoping for a repeat of the 2021/22 final where they edged out the Devils 3-2 in overtime.


Republic Of Ireland prepare for Nations League play-off

The Republic Of Ireland come up against Bulgaria on 23 March 2025.

Heimir Hallgrímsson’s men make a return to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium for the second leg of their UEFA Nations League tie with Bulgaria. The Boys In Green will be hoping to take a positive result back to Dublin from Plovdiv in the first leg of the tie. The winners will retain their Group B status which will be a big boost to their chances in future European qualifying campaigns.


Leinster Rugby aim for Quarter-Final berth

Leinster are in action against Harlequins on Saturday 5 April 2025.

Leinster Rugby will take to the hallowed grounds of Croke Park in a bid to secure their spot in the Investec Champions Cup Quarter-Finals. English outfit Harlequins will be out to spoil the Irish side’s current winning streak when they arrive in Dublin.


Cage Warriors returns to Dublin

Cage Warriors 188 comes to Dublin on Saturday 26 April 2025.

Cage Warriors is back at the RDS with a stacked card of Irish and international talent. Dublin’s own James Sheean makes a first defence of his welterweight title against Justin Burlinson in front of a hometown crowd. Also on the card is Belfast’s Paddy McCorry who will face off against Ghassan Abdenabi in a flyweight bout.


Celtic confirmed for Cork Super Cup

Celtic and Cork City will battle it out at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on 8 July 2025.

The hoops will make a much-welcome return to Irish soil with a pre-season fixture against recently promoted League Of Ireland side, Cork City. The confirmation of the contest between The Bhoys and The Rebel Army comes with the announcement of the inaugural Cork Super Cup at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The game will be only the third-ever soccer match hosted at the historic stadium.


The RDS Dublin Horse Show is back for 2025

The much-loved equestrian, family and social event runs from 6 – 10 August 2025.

The RDS showgrounds will be packed with some of the best horses from Ireland and beyond when the Dublin Horse Show rides back into town. Regarded as one of the most prestigious show jumping competitions in the world, the Aga Khan Trophy draws the best international horse and rider combinations from around the globe. The esteemed annual event celebrates its 150th Anniversary in 2025.


The Aer Lingus College Football Classic flies back to Ireland

Kansas State University and Iowa State University touch down in Dublin on Saturday 23 August.

Bringing the full American Football experience to Ireland, the Aer Lingus College Football Classic will return to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium. Familiar foes, Kansas State and Iowa State will collide on the gridiron in what promises to be a highly entertaining encounter. The fixture marks the 10th college football game ever played in Dublin.


The NFL is on the way to Dublin

The Steelers are all set for a historic day in Dublin’s Croke Park.

Irish NFL fans won’t have to stay up until 3am to catch a game of American Football on this occasion. The Pittsburgh Steelers will make the 3,400 mile trip to Dublin to play the first-ever regular-season game in Ireland. The opponent and date will be announced soon. Fans can register their interest in tickets now.
