Munster great Donncha O’Callaghan has accepted the Barbarians’ invitation to return to Thomond Park to face Tonga this Friday night, KO: 7.30pm.
The Barbarians will deploy a side packed with international experience for their first-ever women’s fixture. A 23-strong squad with 1,019 international caps has been named by Head Coach Giselle Mather ahead of the match against Munster at Thomond Park on November 10 (4.45pm). Admission to the Barbarians v Tonga match (7.30pm) also includes admission to the women’s match.
Savea was the 2015 World Cup’s leading try scorer and has touched down 46 tries in 54 appearances, appearing at international level most recently in the final drawn Test of the British & Irish Lions series.
Last year’s unbeaten Barbarians captain Andy Ellis returns for the famous invitation side for next month’s match against Tonga at Thomond Park Stadium on Friday 10 November.
