Wackadoo! The critically acclaimed and universally adored show is coming back to Ireland in a BIG way. The Olivier Award-winning ‘Bluey’s Big Play’ is stopping off in Belfast in April before the Heelers head for Dublin in August.
Featuring the original voices from the hit BBC and Disney+ sensation, a brand-new story from Bluey creator Joe Brumm, and fresh music from Bluey composer Joff Bush. With relatable storylines and plenty of laughs for both kids and grown-ups, this is one show that will be very trifficult to beat.

Peppa Pig’s Big Family Show

We’re not telling porkies, the world’s most popular pig is coming to Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre this May. Join Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy Pig as they get ready to welcome an exciting new addition to the family.
As any parent knows, there’s an awful lot to do before a new baby arrives. With so much to organise, Peppa and family need all the help they can get to make sure everything is in place for the big day. Will they manage to get everything sorted? You’ll have to join them to find out.

Why not plant the seed for future generations of horticulture enthusiasts? Ireland’s largest festival of gardening, food, and sustainable living, Bord Bia Bloom, celebrates its 20th birthday with a return to Phoenix Park in 2026.
This year’s edition introduces a host of new, exciting things to do for children, with interactive, educational, and entertaining activities to discover. Up to two children under 16 can attend for free with each adult ticket. With fantastic food options, a retail and craft village, and of course a wide array of stunning horticultural features, Bord Bia Bloom serves as the perfect day out for all ages.
In The Night Garden Live!

The Ninky Nonk is steaming into town and all of your favourite In The Night Garden friends are on board. Join Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy, and co as the enchantment of the TV series takes a leap from the TV screen to the theatre.
With a run time of just under an hour, this show is perfectly tailored for toddlers. Bringing the show’s signature calmness and dreamlike atmosphere to the stage, this soothing production offers the perfect short escape to a mystical land.
Riverdance 30 – The New Generation

2026 is the perfect time to introduce a whole new generation of spectators to a global phenomenon, as the special anniversary tour takes to the road. Riverdance first made a splash at Dublin’s Point Theatre stage in 1994 and has continued to wow crowds around the world ever since with its blend of electrifying music and dance. VIP packages, available for the Dublin performances, include an exclusive glimpse at the dancers’ warm-up, followed by a post-show meet & greet.
RDS Dublin Horse Show

Not just for the adults, this annual equestrian and social event is the perfect place for children to engage in some horseplay. The RDS Dublin Horse Show features a dedicated family area, with some of last year’s highlights including the mini defender driving experience, circus acts, and face painting. More information on the 2026 Family Area will be revealed soon. With so much to see and do, you might find it a challenge to rein the kids in when it’s time to head home.

Kaleidoscope Presented By Glenveagh

Ireland’s premier family festival returns once again to the picturesque grounds of Russborough House in Blessington. Packed with incredible live music, fantastic food and an array of fun activities for all ages, Kaleidoscope offers the ultimate summer staycation. Expect immersive science shows, circus spectacles, feats of magic, arts and crafts, dance and theatre, baby and toddler play zones, family sports and wellness, plus plenty more.
This year’s lineup is as strong as ever. Looking even further ahead? Panto season isn’t too far away!
This year, the Gaiety Theatre presents the classic tale of Robin Hood in true Gaiety style. Over at 3Olympia Theatre, Cinderella: Olly and the Glass Slipper offers a hilarious twist on the beloved fairytale. And while not a traditional panto, Mrs. Doubtfire The Musical will stop off at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre this December & January, giving the much-loved movie a fabulous stage makeover.
