Annie Clark A.K.A. St. Vincent has increasingly been noticed by the media, for both her musical talent and her relationship with gorgeous Burberry model Cara Delevingne, but here are some facts that you probably didn’t know about the singer-songwriter:
1. She was born in Tulsa in Oklahoma and is 32 years old
2. Her star sign is Libra
3. She featured on the soundtracks for two ‘Twilight’ movies – her song ‘Roslyn’ featured in ‘New Moon’ and her song ‘The Antidote’ featured in ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2’
4. She can play multiple instruments including guitar, bass, piano, keyboard and synthesiser
5. She was a member of the band ‘Polyphonic Spree’ until 2006
6. She has released four albums:
- ‘Marry Me’ in 2007
- ‘Actor’ in 2009
- ‘Strange Mercy’ in 2011
- ‘St. Vincent’ in 2014
7. In 2015 she won a Grammy for ‘Best Alternative Album’ for her self-titled album ‘St.Vincent’
8. Her stage name St. Vincent refers to the hospital in which poet Dylan Thomas died. She describes her style as ‘the place where poetry comes to die’
9. She has collaborated with Arcade Fire and Kid Cudi
