Line-up ‘In Stitches’ for 2015 Vodafone Comedy Festival unveiling

Vodafone Comedy Festival programme launched

It’s another stellar line-up of International and home-grown talent for this year’s Vodafone Comedy Festival. The feel good event of the summer will feature an impressive line-up of over 80 comedians who will perform in 4 fully seated indoor venues (The Big Red, The Cherry Top, The Comedy Hub and the Jokeshop) in the unique and stunning surroundings of The Iveagh Gardens, in the heart of Dublin, from Thursday 23 July to Sunday 26 July.

 

International talent performing at the Festival includes US comedians Reginald D Hunter, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Michelle Wolf, Aparna Nancherla, Joe List, Seaton Smith and the unique talents of The Pajama Men who return following last year’s amazing performances. Their Canadian neighbours Tom Stade and Glenn Wool will also perform as well as Australia’s Adam Hills & Rhys Nicholson.

From the UK, 8 out of 10 Cats team captain Jon Richardson, one-liner king Tim Vine, ventriloquist Nina Conti, The Improv Allstars with Phill Jupitus, Adam Buxton, Zoe Lyons, Lolly Adefope, Chris Ramsey, Rosin Conaty and Nick Helm (who is receiving rave reviews for his current BBC3TV series Nick Helm’s Heavy Entertainment) are all on the bill.

It wouldn’t be a comedy festival without some serious home-grown talent including Tommy Tiernan, David O’Doherty, Al Porter, Panti, Deirdre O’Kane, Maeve Higgins, PJ Gallagher, Bernard O’Shea, Jason Byrne and Neil Delamere as well as rising stars like Foil Arms & Hog, Eleanor Tiernan, Chris Kent, Alison Spittle and Joanne McNally.
