Outdoor music season is just around the corner. Check out the festivals and concert series in Ireland in June.
As June arrives, Ireland’s summer music season is in full swing! With brighter skies and warmer nights, it’s the perfect time to dive into live music! Whether you like to dance to high energy beats, to sing along to your favourite anthems or chill out with mellow acoustic vibes, there’s something for every music lover. Curious? St Anne’s Park

St Anne’s Park, Dublin | 30 May – 8 June
St Anne’s Park celebrates its sixth year of live music in the fresh air. Set against the backdrop of lush green fields, the concert series takes place from 30 May – 8 June. This year’s programme boasts a varied line-up, with alternative folk band The Lumineers, Irish pop band The Corrs, a nostalgic throwback to the 90’s with Rewind and Stereophonics, alongside Tipperary’s own comedy duo The 2 Johnnies and American rapper Macklemore all taking centre stage.
Belsonic

Ormeau Park, Belfast | 5 – 30 June
Belfast’s popular concert series Belsonic is back, transforming Ormeau Park into a buzzing hub of international talent from 5 – 30 June. This year’s line-up features electrifying pulses from acts such as blk., and back-to-back Boiler Room sets from Chris Stussy and KETTAMA, alongside the return of fan favourites like Alanis Morissette, Justin Timberlake and Madness.
Virgin Media Park

Virgin Media Park, Cork | 5 June – 1 July
Moving down to Cork, Virgin Media Park’s concert series runs from 5 June – 1 July. The line-up showcases a dynamic blend of genres with iconic Irish talent including The Corrs and Snow Patrol, as well as global stars like Macklemore, Sterophonics and Duran Duran Plus Nile Rodgers & Chic. From rock to pop, indie to hip-hop, there’s something for everyone!
In The Meadows

Royal Kilmainham Hospital, Dublin | 7 June
Back for its second year after the success of 2024’s inaugural event, In The Meadows takes place on Saturday 7 June at Royal Kilmainham Hospital, Dublin. Curated by the teams behind All Together Now and Forbidden Fruit, this one-day festival promises an eclectic mix of music, featuring everything from raw punk to genre-defying innovators. Including a headline set from punk legend Iggy Pop, and performances from shoegaze pioneers Slowdive, and poet Dr. John Cooper Clarke, alongside home-grown Irish artists such as Gilla Band, Sprints, Muireann Bradley and Really Good Time.
Clifden Summer Fest

The Showgrounds, Clifden | 13 – 15 June
Heading out west, Galway plays host to Clifden Summer Fest from 13 – 15 June at The Showgrounds. Over three days, the festival will offer a programme packed with music and entertainment, for what will be a promising weekend full of craic! The headliners across the festival are Irish country singer Derek Ryan on Friday, followed by the brilliant Paddy Casey and Mundy on Saturday, with folk band The Whistlin’ Donkeys closing out the weekend.
Fairview Park

Fairview Park, Dublin | 16 – 28 June
Another city centre gem returning this month is the beloved concert series at Fairview Park, Dublin from 16 – 28 June. For two weeks, the park will play host to an exciting range of performances. Expect high-energy shows from Kneecap, Basement Jaxx and Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats alongside rock bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Saw Doctors, with Air providing dreamy, electronic soundscapes.
Malahide Castle

Malahide Castle, Dublin | 17 June – 4 July
Set against the historic landscape of a 12th century fort, Malahide Castle series returns this year from 17 June – 4 July. Kicking off the start of the concert series is the pioneer of last year’s brat summer – electronic superstar Charli XCX, as well as legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young and heavy metal icons Iron Maiden taking to the stage later in the month. The concert series will be closed out by some superlative Mumford & Sons.
Live at The Marquee

Live at The Marquee, Cork | 25 June – 18 July
Down south, a long-standing concert series makes its annual return in June. Live at The Marquee has been bringing the best of music and entertainment to Cork City Docklands since 2005! This year there’s a packed music line-up, with a host of comedy mixed in, including Dara O’Briain, Tommy Tiernan and Cork native Chris Kent. Alongside a special Rory Gallagher celebration with renowned blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, Ireland’s new wave of folk music revival continues in Cork with The Mary Wallopers, Amble and Kingfishr all taking to the stage. The concert series runs from 25 June – 18 July.
Trinity Summer Series

Trinity Summer Series | 29 June – 6 July
Coming to Dublin’s famed Trinity College campus, Trinity Summer Series offers an exciting line-up of performances. Taking place across 8 days from 29 June – 6 July, the series opens with Norwegian singer-songwriter AURORA. That performance is followed by other acclaimed artists bring their talents to the capital including Australian sensations The Teskey Brothers, 90’s rock band Weezer and 80’s new-wave pop band Simple Minds.
