We are delighted to launch the 5th edition of our Ticket of the Year, where fans will decide what the best live experience of 2019 was for them and reveal the most anticipated show they can’t wait to attend in 2020 — for a chance to win a €500 Ticketmaster Gift Card. (Terms & Conditions apply).
This year, venues across the country welcomed extraordinary live acts Nicki Minaj, Khalid, Elton John, Spice Girls, Westlife, Lewis Capaldi, Fleetwood Mac, P!nk and Post Malone not to mention the remarkable plays, musicals and family shows including Disney on Ice, Riverdance, Les Miserables, The King and I, War Horse and Dirty Dancing.
We also have seen unforgettable sports events at Aviva Stadium such as Ireland v Wales in the Guinness Summer Series, the Heineken Champions Cup Quarter Final between local rivals Leinster Rugby and Ulster Rugby and then the vital UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifier between Republic of Ireland and Switzerland.
For 2020, Ireland is on the itinerary for many celebrated artists and shows touring Europe including Halsey, Slipknot, Celine Dion, The Who, Rammstein, The Phantom of the Opera, Green Day and many others.
By voting, fans will automatically be entered for a chance to win a €500 Ticketmaster gift card giving them a chance to get their hands on live entertainment tickets for some of next year’s great events. Last year, the winner of Ticket of the Year 2018 was Electric Picnic and the most anticipated show was P!nk.
Voting for Ticketmaster’s Ticket of the Year opens on Monday, 4th November and closes on Sunday 10th November with results announced on Wednesday, 20th November.
