Stereophonics take their 20year career by storm with a open outdoor show at The Royal Hospital Kilmainham next Thursday, support on the night comes from The Vaccines and local support Neon Wolf.

Expect to hear the hits from Stereophonics including new material from their current album “Keep The Village Alive”.

Stereophonics’ ninth studio album, Keep The Village Alive has further cemented the band’s status as one of the best, entering the UK charts at #1, their 6th album to go to the top of the charts. It stayed in the top ten for three weeks and selling nearly 80,000 copies. The album also hit the #2 spot in the Irish Indie Album Charts.

The band are: Kelly Jones (vocals/guitar), Richard Jones (bass), Adam Zindani (guitar), and Jamie Morrison (drums).

Few modern British guitar bands have had such an instant impact as The Vaccines. Emerging in the summer of 2010 with blend of retro surf punk, Ramones guitars and Everly Brothers pop hooks, their high octane, ultra-melodic sound saw them instantly adopted as the hot new guitar band on the block.

The Vaccines’ game-changing third album, English Graffiti, in which they tear up the plans and see what happens as they fall around them. The elements of the old Vaccines sound remain – certainly in the buzzsaw pop rushes of Handsome, 20/20 and Radio Bikini – but their sonic palette is completely different. An eclectic and surprising adventurous musical mix with songs that acknowledge the Eighties pop of ELO and Duran Duran, while sounding firmly of the now.

Fans attending are advised that there is no parking at the venue and to use public transport and city centre car parks. This is an over 18’s event, patrons are requested to respect the privacy and property of local residents. Please do not contact Royal Hospital Kilmainham with queries related to any of the concerts. Resident /customer queries that are not answered on the MCD website should be directed to [email protected].
