Love/Hate’s Nidge visits Ed Sheeran at Wembley gig!

Last night Love/ Hate’s king Nidge returned from the dead! Ed Sheeran who is a massive Love/Hate fan was joined by Tom Vaughan Lawlor who plays Nidge in Love/Hate backstage before Sheeran took to the Wembley stage for the third of his sold out headline gigs.

Ed and Tom Vaughan Lawlor recorded an hilarious video whilst backstage at the gig.

Tom Vaughan Lawlor appears in character as Nidge saying, “Alrigh man, here with the main man Ed. I’m about to go out on the show. Can’t wait for it. Alrigh buddy.”

With Ed responding, ‘I’ve a bone to pick with him.

At his Friday night gig at Wembley Ed was joined on stage by none other than Elton John. The pair played Don’t Go Breaking My Heart as well as Ed Sheeran’s Afire Love.

Ed shared the below picture on his Instagram, writing “Absolute honour sharing the stage with this man“.

Ed will play two SOLD OUT headline gigs at Croke park on 24 & 25 July!! We can’t wait to see what surprises he has in store for Dublin!
