Box Office Assistant/Driver

Reporting to:               Box Office Manager
Location:                      Various

Job Description:

  • Collection and driving of Ticketmaster mobile units
  • Selling tickets for up-coming events
  • Maintaining excellent standards of customer service
  • Checking float is correct
  • Reconciling daily cash and credit card sales
  • Printing and distributing box office collections
  • Printing and reading venue maps and understanding holds
  • Responding to requests and resolving issues for clients
  • Issuing complimentary tickets
  • Giving Promoters sales figures/audits
  • Reporting hardware and communication faults
  • Ad Hoc duties as required by business operations

Skills:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • The ability to work on own initiative and be proactive
  • Be well presented and maintain a professional manner
  • Be friendly and approachable with a high level of patience and diplomacy
  • Be enthusiastic and encourage a positive attitude towards Ticketmaster and its services
  • Strong time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Good work ethic and common sense
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Effective communication skills

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Understanding of the Ticketing / Entertainment Industry
  • Prior experience in a customer facing role
  • Prior experience in a cash handling role
  • PCI experience preferred but not essential

Working hours:             15-20 hours per week, Monday – Sunday
Holiday entitlement:    8% of hours worked, 1 January to December 31
Salary entitlement:      €12.50 per hour (Additional payment applicable to transporting hours)
