Watch: U2 – ‘Every Breaking Wave’ new video
U2 have revealed a video for their brand new single ‘Every Breaking Wave‘, from their latest album ‘Songs of Innocence‘.
U2 teamed up with Irish director (Aoife McArdle) and the Creators Project previously this month on a short film set in the violent post-punk 1980s Northern Ireland to create the video for the new single.
The video is a summarised version of the 13-minute short film Every Breaking Wave to a music video fitting their song by the same title.
In the video, a Catholic boy falls in love with a Protestant girl at a punk show and the two fall in love set amongst the violent chaos of 1980s Northern Ireland.
