The band gained fans in the UK after support performances to The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park in 2013, and at Glastonbury in 2014. They are showing no signs of slowing down and their hectic schedule included performances at many different festivals throughout Europe including Electric Picnic, Reading & Leeds, The Great Escape, Benicassim and T in the Park.

The Guardian described their album as: “..impassioned and anthemic – and they deserve their big moment”.

Band member, Mal Tuohy, describes their music and work ethic: “We’ve never, ever taken ‘no’ for an answer. If there’s something we want to do or achieve, we just sit down and say, ‘How are we going to make it happen?’ And it happens. I think that positivity and ‘If we all pull together…’ spirit comes through in our music too.”

The Riptide Movement will play at Whelans, Dublin on 11, 12 & 13 December. Get your tickets here!
