Halloween is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited! Make the most out of the scariest time of the year attending the best Halloween parties and events around the country. From haunted house tours to glamorous macabre balls — there is something for everyone! Check out our list below:

The Exorcist

29 October – 2 November. Gaiety Theatre, Dublin.

Bill Kenwright presents the Ireland tour of the spine-tingling live production of The Exorcist, based on the best-selling novel by William Peter Blatty. Inspired by true events, this devilishly thrilling tale has been adapted for the stage by John Pielmeier and directed by Sean Mathias (Waiting for Godot, No Mans Land), featuring the voice of Ian McKellen as the Demon.

When the medical profession fails to provide answers to young Regans strange symptoms, her desperate mother Chris turns to a local priest for help. But before Father Damien can tackle whats before him, he must overcome his own shaken beliefs, as this fight is for more than just one girls soul

Danse Macabre Halloween’s Monster Ball

27 October. The RDS Concert Hall, Ballsbridge

Beware this Halloween for the door between the living and the dead is opening for a night of unspeakable glamour. The beautiful and the damned will rise again for Danse Macabre Monster’s Ball, Ireland’s most decadent Halloween party.

For one night only, the grand Concert Hall becomes a haunted house with a touch of the cirque du freak. Your hosts — the divine temptress and dancefloor slayer, Bonnie Boux, and prince of all things unholy, Beelzebub, will lead you through a party that mixes live music, DJs, dance, variety, immersive performances, cabaret and the occasional sacrifice.

Creepy Creator Tours at the GAA Museum

25 – 31 October. The GAA Museum, Drumcondra, Dublin

The GAA Museum is celebrating Halloween with a fun new family event – our Creepy Creator Tours. Families will be greeted by the GAA Museum’s Irish hare mascot, Cluasóg, before taking part in our child-friendly stadium tour where they’ll visit the famous dressing rooms, walk pitch-side and learn all about Croke Park.

Spooky Ghost Tour For Little Monsters

30 & 31 October. Wicklow’s Historic Gaol, Wicklow.

1pm: Mini monster meeting in the monster lounge. Have a go at pinning the bow on Mr Bones. 1.45pm: Enter the courtyard, check out other little monsters, form teams of three. Pick your smallest team monster and turn them into a Mummy. The best and fastest Mummy team wins a prize. 2.15pm: The costume contest begins. Follow the parade around the courtyard and our very own wicked witch will be watching and waiting to pick. The Scariest Costume, The Cutest Costume and the Best Home-Made Costume.

Ladyrath Pumpkin Patch

26 – 30 October. Ladyrath Lane, Navan, Meath

Once again we have pumpkin picking(over 10 000 pumpkins) and pumpkin carving, every child gets a free pumpkin on the day, large set up of bouncy castles and inflatable obstacle course, playground for the kids to enjoy, a massive maze set in the pumpkin field(new for this year),face painting for all the children and so much more on the day.
