The Southern Ireland gaming festival will also bring together publishers and exhibitors to showcase their latest releases at the INEC, with dedicated zones for retro and indie gaming.  The organisers expect to welcome 10,000 video gaming enthusiasts through the doors over the weekend.

Andy Smith, Director of The Insomnia Gaming Festival, commented: “After the enormous success of Insomnia Ireland last year, the decision to bring it back to Killarney was an easy one. We have a host of fantastic fans over here and we’re delighted to be bringing them big title tournaments, shows and tech to enjoy in June, with a huge array of attractions for both families and gamers alike.
