Watch: Our Top 5 Interpol Tracks
Interpol roll into town this week for 3 hotly anticipated dates at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre. LA noise merchants HEALTH join them as support.
The new album has been receiving rave reviews so we’re looking forward to hearing that live. There’s no doubt they’ll play some of their older stuff too. Here’s our top 5 Interpol tunes. Enjoy!
First up it’s ‘PDA’ from the excellent ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’.
It wouldn’t be a proper Interpol top 5 if we didn’t include ‘Evil’ from 2004’s ‘Antics’.
And because ‘Antics’ is such a good album we have to include ‘Slow Hands’.
Next up it’s ‘The Heinrich Maneuver’ taken from the band’s third album ‘Our Love To Admire’.
Finally, it’s our favourite tune from the new album ‘El Pintor’, ‘Everything Is Wrong’. The video, directed by Paul Banks, is not half bad either. ‘El Pintor’ is the band’s first album in four years, and sees them completely reinvigorated after a three year break from touring, offering ten incredible new tracks – taut and epic in equal measure.
A limited number of tickets are still available for Wednesday night’s show and you can get them here.
