The band were formed in 2022 by Dylan Kennedy and Ryan Whelan, who met each other at a gig in The Workman’s Club and quickly discovered similar musical interests. yes chef! – who are now a four-piece – have an eclectic taste in music which feeds into the band’s sound. In September of this year yes chef! Support Overhead, The Albatross in The Button Factory and are currently busy recording their debut single.
Grá
Grá are a six-piece, female-led folk project creating a new sound within the Irish folk scene. Grá combine acoustic and synthesised sounds that reimagine Ireland’s traditional music. Lu Hope, Niah Donnelly, Norah Stevens, Ciara Shortt, Chlöe Fitzgerald, and Shae Walsh have developed a sound that unhooks traditional music from the past, searching for a modern Irish identity. Despite being a relatively new act, Grá have already found a solid & loyal fanbase – a fanbase which has increased after a summer of playing most of Ireland’s biggest music festivals.
Stratford Rise
Stratford Rise is a four-piece alt-noise rock guitar band – originally from Bangor – and now based in Belfast. The band’s sound is exciting and experimental, blending elements of noise-guitar, jazz, funk and no-wave.
