Tilt is a free monthly music showcase event held in The Button Factory curated by John Barker and produced by Steve Caffrey and The Sound Training College. The aim of the live events is to highlight the best in Irish music talent while also providing training for students pursuing a career in the live music industry.

The showcase event was founded in Oct 2019 and has been ever-present in The Button Factory. It’s the longest running ‘full band’ music showcase event in Dublin. Over 100 acts have performed at Tilt since 2019 including Sprints, Tebi Rex, Gurriers, Curtisy, Tolü Makay, Yankari, Ben Bix, Shiv and Annie-Dog.

Tilt #36 is presented with thanks to funding from Ticketmaster.

Martina And The Moons

Martina And The Moons are a Dublin based all-female four-piece rock band who have released several great singles since late 2023. Their most recent single ‘Laundry Mat’ was released through Rubarb Music – the newly launched artist development label from GRAMMY award-winning producer Ruadhrí Cushnan. Since the summer the band have performed at two key music showcase events in Ireland – Output Music Conference in Belfast and Ireland Music Week in Dublin.

Delush

Delush are a fun-loving rock band from Tallaght with big sounding songs and an infectious energy. They recently signed a publishing deal with Magic Mountain Songs and Jonny Quinn (Snow Patrol) and over the summer were hand-picked by Jerry Fish to perform on his stage on the Saturday evening of Electric Picnic 2025 as well as a recent headline show in The Grand Special. Their debut EP – recorded in Attica Studios – will be released over the coming weeks.

Alky

Alky is musician Barry Reid – an indie-rock artist from Dublin – who released his debut single in August 2024. He has a very distinctive sound which is a blend of up-tempo rock and driving rhythms, juxtaposed with introspective lyrics and a baritone vocal style, exemplifying the indie-rock genre. This year he has performed headline shows in Whelan’s and The Workman’s Club and on 24 October he released his debut album ‘Rinse And Repeat’.

Admission to Tilt #36 is free, with doors opening at 7:30pm. This is an over 18s event. Free tickets can be reserved at Ticketmaster.ie/Tilt and on the Universe platform.

The events will also be featured on Ticketmaster Local – a dedicated guide for highlighting grassroots venues and Irish artists.
