Dermot Kennedy announces landmark Aviva Stadium show
The multi-platinum selling artist returns for his biggest Dublin show to date.
Dermot Kennedy has announced a massive 2026 Dublin show at Aviva Stadium for Saturday 11 July. The announcement comes as the multi-platinum singer-songwriter sets off on the sold-out North American leg of his stripped-back ‘A Promised Return’ tour, having recently brought it to Dublin and Belfast for packed-out shows at 3Olympia Theatre and Ulster Hall.
Known for his passionate and powerful live performances, Dermot has graced the stages of such iconic venues as London’s O2 Arena and New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The show will feature favourites spanning Dermot’s discography, along with new material to be released in 2026.
MISNEACH is the new annual global music festival conceived and curated by Dermot Kennedy. The festival aims to point a spotlight on Ireland’s rich musical heritage and culture. The festival has featured acts like Kneecap, Amble, Meg Mac and Sorcha Richardson along with headline sets from Dermot himself.
Other recent live events for Dermot include a special half-time performance at Soccer Aid Match in Manchester, an exciting appearance alongside GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Zach Bryan at one of the Oklahoma native’s Phoenix Park shows in June and surprising festival goers by joining original members of The Cranberries, Noel and Mike Hogan, as they performed for with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra at Electric Picnic.
