Ticket of the Year 2019
Dermot Kennedy won as most anticipated show and P!nk was the global winner of the 5th edition of Ticket of the Year!
Touring for the first time in seven years, Westlife came back to Ireland to play The Twenty Tour to their beloved home crowd. Celebrating their 20th anniversary, it is no surprise that fans voted them as the show of 2019.
Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy has been voted the ‘Most Anticipated Event’ of 2020 after he announced three huge Irish dates next year. This is hot off the back of the release of his album Without Fear, the longest-reigning Irish Number 1 debut album in five years.
Dermot Kennedy said: “It’s an honour to be Ticketmaster’s Ticket of the Year! Thanks so much to anyone who has ever come to see us play. We love playing these shows for you. The 2020 tour is going to be so special. I can’t wait to see you there!”
Pop icon P!nk takes the number one place globally with her Beautiful Trauma world tour thrilling audiences across America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The Grammy Award winner, who released her eighth studio album Hurts 2B Human in April, tallied up a record 157 shows worldwide.
P!nk said: “What an honor! I had such an incredible team and touring family as part of the Beautiful Trauma World Tour. We worked really hard to create the best show we could for all the fans and I’m so proud of all of us.”
Now in its fifth year, fans are more passionate about Ticket of the Year than ever before with 2019 seeing the most votes yet with a record 24 countries taking part in this truly global vote.
