Longitude unveils Longitude 2016 App, powered by Three & Timetable

Festival goers can customise their weekend via new and improved app!

With the countdown well and truly on, Longitude has unveiled details of the official 2016 festival app, powered by Three. The app is designed to keep festival goers connected and provide an information hub complete with everything from stage times to customisable festival line-ups, all at the touch of a screen.
Building on the success of last year, the Longitude 2016 app will ensure that festival goers get the most out of their weekend with access to festival content, reminders when their favourite acts are about to hit the stage and real time information as the festival takes place.
The app details the line-up by time, stage, artist and location, meaning app users can ‘favourite’ who they want to see, offering personalised reminders when an act is about to start. The new Discover section showcases the very best of Longitude’s headliners allowing festival attendees to wow their friends with their ‘in the know’ music knowledge.
Those wanting to share their story or simply know what’s going on throughout the weekend can check out the Social section where they can browse all the best conversations happening across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using #Longitude16.
The Longitude 2016 app’s News section continues to offer real time information throughout the festival while the official festival map will ensure that attendees are in the right place at the right time. Information on how to travel to the festival site, ticket information and access can be found in the Info section. Those wanting to make a last minute ticket purchase can do so via the Ticket section.

As well as powering the official Longitude 2016 app, Three is bringing 3Live tothe festival,combining music and mobile to create a personalised experience for music lovers. 3Live is a completely immersive experience that connects festival-goers to what matters most – great music and experiences. Included in this year’s 3Live at Longitude line up is 3’s Big Beat Bingo, 3Jukebox and DJ sets from Marcus O’Laoire and Claire Beck. As well as a jam-packed schedule of music, Longitude attendees can also customise their festival experience with their very own personalised phone cover and ensure they are festival-ready with onsite makeup artists in the 3LAB. 3Live also houses 3Charging, offering free phone charging as well as portable power-bars to ensure music lovers are completely engaged and fully connected throughout their festival experience.
