Hozier bags your Best Album of 2014 vote
The Bray singer – Songwriter Hozier triumphed in our Meteor Choice Music Prize Album of the Year 2014 poll, beating off Delorentos, U2, Alphex Twin, The Gloaming, James Vincent Mc Morrow, Sinead O’Connor, The Riptide Movement, We Cut Corners and Damien Rice to bag the tmBlog top spot.
Hozier released his self-titled album “Hozier” in Ireland in September 2014 and globally in October 2014.
Five singles feature on the album including hits from his earlier EP’s “Take Me to Church”, “Work Song” and “From Eden”.
The album continued to grow and resulted in Hozier selling out five Irish dates back in 2014.

The official winning album of 2014 will be selected by the judging panel at the Meteor Choice Music Prize live event, which takes place on Thursday, 5 March at Vicar Street, Dublin with many of the artists playing on the night.
