Dermot Kennedy is a young Irish alt-folk musician. Dermot launched his career as a solo artist in September 2014. Since then he has played sold out shows at Dublin’s Unitarian Church, The Workman’s Club and Upstairs at Whelans. Dermot was invited on stage by Glen Hansard to play one of his own songs at Glen’s show in Vicar Street, Dublin.
He played at both Electric Picnic and The Other Voices Music Trail in 2015, and has been acknowledged as one of Ireland’s most promising new acts.
